The Feathered Dog shows his claws and riffs

FESTIVAL. After two blank summers due to Covid-19, the Feathered Dog is finally heading back to Lake La Vingeanne, in Villegusien-le-Lac, with its summer festival which will welcome, among others, Hubert-Félix Thiéfaine, Eddy de Pretto, Tryo, or even the Deluxe group.

This time, the Feathered Dog will not be stored in a sad confined niche. After having had to cancel, death in the soul, its 2020 and 2021 editions, the association will not suffer, in 2022, the horrors of the Covid-19 and returns in force to Villegusien-Le-Lac, near the lake of La Vingeanne, from this Friday August 5th until Sunday August 7th inclusive. Three days of madness are on the menu, with at least 15,000 spectators expected, and a program to say the least dense, diversified and rich in headliners.

The third will thus be the good one for the famous reggae and pop group Tryo, already unsuccessfully planned for 2020 and 2021, and which thus makes it a point of honor to finally be able to fulfill its commitment to return to Lingonne land. He will perform on Sunday, at 7:45 p.m., as the highlight of the last evening of the festival. Previously, a great safe bet and the rising star of the French music scene will have provided the show. Crowned with two Victoires de la Musique and an audience of extremely loyal fans for more than 40 years, Hubert-Félix Thiéfaine will come on Saturday to interpret his poetic texts, with a rich and explosive vocabulary. The day before, Friday evening, hip-hop star Eddy de Pretto, new face of 18-30 year olds and triple platinum disc with his album “Cure” in 2018, will, without a shadow of a doubt, put the fire at La Vingeanne lake.

A local and ecological festival

Beyond the stars, Le Chien à plumes intends to remain faithful to its DNA, both with confirmed groups (such as Deluxe), as well as a few rising stars (such as Macadam Crocodile), as well as young beginners, through its famous “ Springboard”. “This year, we have also decided to give a more important place than usual to local groups, which we want to highlight,” says Anaïsse Morlon, communications and partnerships officer at Le Chien à plumes. Well known to the Haut-Marnais, the groups Wildation, Alambig and NTTF will perform on the stages of the festival.

And will do so in a redesigned framework, to stick to the new urgent challenges of sustainable development and the fight against global warming. “Participating in this approach was very important to us”, says Anaïsse Morlon, who mentions in particular a charter of commitment to the recycling of all waste for all stands, or the deployment of dry toilets throughout the festival.
