Relive the Victoires de la musique 2022 and all the winners

MUSIC VICTORIES – Who from Juliette Armanet, Clara Luciani or Hoshi won the title of best artist? This Friday, February 11, they were decided during the evening, on the occasion of the 2022 edition of the Victoires de la musique live from the musical Seine on France 2.

Even though the announcement of the nominations during the month of January has aroused many criticisms, including the fact that the ceremony does not reflect the diversity of the current scene, Orelsan left him as the big favorite. The rapper, whose album Civilization is the best-selling record in France in 2021, appeared in four categories: best album, artist, song and audiovisual creation. He was awarded for three of them.

At the helm of the show, we found the former Miss France Laury Thilleman and the star host of France 2 Olivier Minne. Like Jane Birkin last year, Jacques Dutronc was awarded a Victory of Honor for his entire career, at 78 years old.

For the rest, it was Stromae who got the ball rolling in his capacity as ceremonial president. Known for his disconcerting performances, like the latest on the TF1 newscast, the interpreter of Papoutai made the public dance on its title Healtha track from his next album due out in March.

The last reward of the evening went to Ben Mazué and his Paradis Tour. It was also the first Victoire de la Musique for the 41-year-old singer.

With her disco and funky universe, Clara Luciani thus won her second Victory for female artist, the first being in 2019. “I always have trouble realizing when I am in great moments of happiness, but there it’s so strong that I dare say it.
