Local artists salute the organization of this event

Miss Rakia Moussa Poussi, a Nigerian artist residing in Nigeria came to Niamey for the Republic Gala. She welcomed this initiative, stressing that the authorities of Niger have just realized one of the dreams of Nigerien youth, namely to bring young people together in communion and conviviality. “Words fail me. I have nothing to say except to thank the President of the Republic HE Mohamed Bazoum. May God assist our President and protect him. If we can have these kinds of shows from time to time during the celebrations of the Republic, it will be a good thing. Such an event has not happened anywhere else. The event started at 2 p.m. and now it’s midnight people are still there. The whole city of Niamey mobilized for this great evening. You saw how full the stadium was. It really touched us a lot”, testified the artist Miss Rakia Moussa Poussi.

The artist Abel Zamani, one of the top 10 best urban music artists in Niger invites Nigerien youth to take this opportunity to have a good time with the artists. “We’re here to ‘enjoy’ ourselves with the fans and have a good time with them on this Republic Day occasion. It’s the state that organized this event and it’s really good. If we’re here, it’s to chat with our fans. It’s the Republic Gala, the players played this afternoon. I am happy to be with our public who support us. He never let us down. The public has always been there for us. And thank you very much to the initiators of this great project. The authorities have always wanted us to do these kinds of events for the Nigerien public. If we find the opportunity and the means to organize these kinds of events ourselves, it will be a very good thing for us, because it is in this profession and these activities that we eat, and it is our business. explained Abel Zamani.

For Nafissa Ousmane, a professional dancer, this concert is an opportunity for young artists to assert themselves. She especially praised the free concert. “Another very important aspect is that the event is free. The public did not pay anything to access the various shows. We thank President Mohamed Bazoum. The young people are very satisfied and we are proud of our President. It’s really a meeting place for us artists. We had fun. I hope that the authorities each in what concerns them try to make this kind of innovation in their field and according to their means to encourage and support young people. If in all areas our authorities manage to get involved and involve the youth as we can see in the organization of this gala, I think that things will go better,” says the young dancer.

Very agitated and busy with the show Mintou Baban Pélé emphasizes that on the whole this activity teaches us that young people can count on the authorities. “When you watch this Gala from start to finish, only young people are involved. Youth is in the spotlight. We only see young people in joy. The President of the Republic is determined to support young people. Mohamed Bazoum made the commitment, now he is in the process of concretizing them. The young people woke up to listen to the messages. This gala, beyond the festivities, gives the opportunity to pass on positive messages. This show has just shown us how much the authorities are concerned about issues related to youth. The young people really liked this Gala de la République offered by the President of the Republic. The young people present here have understood that the Head of State has good intentions and initiatives for the benefit of young people. We multiply our thanks and our greetings to the Head of State. We ask the President of the Republic and the other members of the Government to support the young people who have this kind of project so that we can have a great show every 6 months”, supports Mintou Baban Pélé.
